Dream Travel Box suggestions
We have received a lot of questions reffering to the content of DreamTravel Box, so that is why we decided to write a blog post to try and help with some suggestions.
First of all we wanted to have some creative, funny and interesting content, that could circle the globe in a sense of beeing an inspiration, the right trigger, or maybe just a hint of one's dream destination. So for example if you live in mountainous area, an idea for DreamTravel Box would be fresh mountain air, packed in a small bottle. Maybe if you live in foggy London, you can pack a bit of London fog in a jar, and send it to the other side of the world - to someone who is missing London, or knows about the London weather :)
Same goes if you live on the beach, and people want to enjoy some nice sunny weather there, you can send them a package full of sunshine :)
Or just imagine those beautiful lavender fields from Provence in late august...Who wouldn't want to have a bit of that fresh, relaxing lavander smell delivered to their doorstep?
But of course it is not just about such creativity. We also want to give the locals the power to influence potential travelers to come and visit their land. That is why we are giving them the opportunity to have their local, authentic and sustainable products listed on the marketplace and in that sense promote their destination and their local craftsmanship. So think about the place where you come from. What is the first thing that comes to mind? What is an authentic souvenir form your town/region/country? How do you want to promote your country to the world?
With Dream Travel Box we inspire. We touch all the senses. We connect worlds.

Spreading the word
It has been the first couple of months, after the official launch of Dream Travel Box and here is a quick update on what has been happening all this time.
First of all we went to WTM London, where we presented and pitched the idea to our potential costumers, and all along we have been gathering their feedback on our marketplace.
Upon return, we were chosen as one of top 10 startups in Alpe Adria region, and we were asked to come and present Dream Travel Box at the competition in Graz. The presentation in Graz really helped to spread the word about Dream Travel Box and explain, what is idea behind it and how it is Connecting Worlds
A couple of days later we were contacted by content creator of Travel Massive, saying, that Dream Travel Box sounds like a great idea, and that they would like to post an article about us. Afterwards, we also decided, that one of the ways of promoting Dream Travel Box was to sponsor the December event of Travel Massive, which took place in Ljubljana on the 8th of December.
There is also another thing that we are working really hard on, and that is potential partnership with locals, who would like to participate on our marketplace. We will explain more about it in the future posts.
In between we also attended a couple of start up events where we were networking with other entrepreneurs and discussing different options in regard to which accelerator to choose, for boosting our start up.
For the next year we have a lot of things planned, but for now we will keep them a secret, and since it is already Christmas time, we would like to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year 2016. Until next time think about what kind of Dream Travel Box would you like to get?
